Charlotte Fun-Filled Weekend Activities

On Friday night, gather your inner football fan and come out to the Carolina Panthers Home Opener Pep Rally/Bar Crawl. Participating bars include Rooftop 210, Bubble, Blackfinn, Strike City, Vida Vida, Whisky River, Suite, Bubble, Libretto, Mortimers, IOS Greek Kitchen, Tin Roof and more to be announced!! Purchase of tickets include, A 2015 Season Opener Panthers T-shirt, Panthers Koozie (while supplies last) $3.00 Bud Light Specials, Prize giveaways, and No Line / No Cover at participating bars. Registration will take place at Rooftop 210 (3rd level of the EpiCentre) starting at 7pm until 9pm. Would you rather indulge in a great concert? Grab a blanket and a couple of friends and head to PNC Music Pavilion to dance the night away with Janet Jackson as she showcases The Unbreakable World Tour. If you are looking for a cultural event head down to Childress Vineyards Grape Stomp Harvest Party to celebrate the 2015 harvest by joining in for a grape-stomping fun time! Admission includes a souvenir glass and a wine tasting.
Saturday offers more fun festivities with the Davidson Art Crawl. Come out from 5-8pm to view over 35 local artists displaying and selling their artwork and handmade gifts. The retail stores are open late for shopping and wine/beer tastings are available along with live music. If you’re looking for a sporting activity on Saturday, come out to TransAmerica Field 8723 Cameron Blvd. to watch Men’s Soccer as the Charlotte 49ers host Old Dominion in C-USA Opener match.
On Sunday Charlotte hosts the Carolina Panthers home opener versus the Houston Texans. Our beloved Panthers are coming off of a win and looking to keep that momentum going. Plan to head out early to tailgate and make sure to stay until the end. You’re always in for a surprise when the Cardiac Cats are on the field.
